Ms. Valentina Galich has 9 years experience in NGO, Freedom of Speech and Human Rights with Human Rights organization "Justice", Front Line Defenders, Peace and Development Programme of UNDP in Kyrgyzstan.  4 years experience in media projects with Internews in Kyrgyzstan and  UNESCO Almaty Cluster Office for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, working closely on following issues as Advocacy, Access to Information, Community media developing, Study of Cooperation of Mass Media and Government Bodies of Jalal-Abad region of Kyrgyzstan, Study/Analysis/Evaluating institutional capacities access, development and sharing of knowledge resources including through broadband-enhanced ICTs, mobile devices and Open Solutions (Open Educational Resources, Open Access, Free and Open Source Software, Open Training Platform, Open Data, Open Cloud), Study of conflicts related the governance, border and inter-group relations of south of Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, Valentina Galich is a pioneer in the field of community media in Kyrgyzstan. She is one of the authors of the manual on community media of Kyrgyzstan, where provided an analysis of the legislative framework and prospects for development. As an expert of UNESCO she contributed efforts to open and develop of The Community Media Association in Kyrgyzstan and made a great contribution to the improvement of national media legislation in the area of community media activities. Valentina Galich took part in production and promotion of the community media website This platform unites news of 26 media around Kyrgyzstan. Plus, Valentina is one of the "Voice of Ayil" apps-developers. This mobile application is configured to the needs of specific rural communities living in the mountain valleys of Kyrgyzstan. "Voice of Ayil" mobile application is the free and open source based application, able to work with offline data, allowing to read content on demand. Its saving users traffic and allocate the individual level of information services, including feedback to real services provided by the local municipalities.
