The three-year (2017-2020) institutional support of key partners: online newsrooms, TV and radio companies had been completed within the framework of the Media-K project. The partner’s media were selected on a competitive basis.
There are online media: kloop.kg, kaktus.media, 24.kg, elgezit.kg, economist.kg .
TV channels: NTS, TV1.KG, «Balastan», «Yntymak» (Osh), «Beloved», GOVORI TV.
Radio: Salam.media (Batken), MARALFM, Community media Association ( kyrgyzmedia.kg).
Key partners received advice on improving business processes, using audience research data to transform and improve their content. They were able to develop income-generating strategies to achieve financial sustainability and independence.
The editorial staff also trained in various areas of media work. Selected key partners received technical support to upgrade their studios.
