Blogosphere

Internews supports the blogosphere in Kyrgyzstan by setting up platforms for cooperation, growth and development. We engage young social media content creators in a constructive dialogue on various topics such as the environment, education, media literacy, culture, history and traditions.

Support for youth and the blogosphere includes major events such as KurulTime. This is the first large-scale blogger festival in Central Asia.

“BloggerBol” is a platform for training aspiring bloggers from different regions of the country to distributing of socially relevant content on social media. We do hold other joint events contributing to the professional growth of socially responsible bloggers in the Kyrgyz Republic.
